Cycle tourism in Chioggia: many itineraries around the sea and the lagoon
Countryside sandwiched between the sea and the lagoon, but also villages, rivers, fish farms and unspoiled nature: for bicycle enthusiasts, Chioggia, Sottomarina and Isola Verde offer many panoramic itineraries and cycle paths to enjoy a day on two wheels whether alone, with family or friends.
The bike tour of the Lusenzo Lagoon, overlooked by Chioggia, Sottomarina and Borgo San Giovanni is very impressive. A relaxing circuit of about 7 km, with various information points on the flora and fauna that populate this stretch of the lagoon.
If, on the other hand, you cannot do without the sea and the beach, the Sottomarina seafront is what you are looking for, a tranquil cycle path that connects the Sottomarina Dam to the Brenta Dam.
Need a longer more adventurous trip? Then we recommend the Chioggia Cycle Route, a 45 km tour lasting about 3 hours, leaving from Cavanella D'Adige and arriving in the historic centre of Chioggia, passing through Bosco Nordio, Cà Lino, Laguna di Lusenzo and taking in the most important Chioggian monuments.
You just have to get on your bike and enjoy the view pedal after pedal!
